SYMBIOTICA LAB | Tissue Culture Protocols

This blog entry serves as an archive for the protocols used for managing cells in the lab. The cell passaging protocol also identifies what you need to do to maintain a hygenic workspace and avoid contamination so that the cells remain alive.

In order to gain an understanding of isolating my own WBC in the lab it was best to first practice with mouse cell line C1 12 using the following protocols to familiarise with the equipment, workstation and chemicals for the handling of live cells.

Download each word doc for a detailed list of protocols. Check the image gallery if you need to see each process.
